Tire question

I need a new rear tire for the LT. I'm trying to understand the difference between the following:

METZELER 160/70B-17 M/C 79V ME880 $209.95 (per Metzler website, 79V has a load rating of 963 lbs)

TIRE ME880 160/70B-17 V-T
0308-0022 $220.95

ME880 160/70VB17 RR ( recommended by BMW dealers, but why?)
110-10448 $313.95

I've tried Metzler's website but must be missing something!

Re: Tire question

Joe,

METZELER 160/70B-17 M/C 79V ME880 is the reinforced tire I have always been supplied with from all the dealers I purchased a tire from. Who quoted that price ?
Sounds like a good deal as I'm now paying about $250 a copy and go through three a year.

Re: Tire question

I found this thru a quick search.. Is there any feedback on the dealer?Mptorcycletire.com

I see the RR for 230.99...

Let me know I will need another before the season is up, I can feel it.....

Don't be afraid to say what you feel, as those that matter DOnt mind and those that mind Dont matter.

Joe SWMOTO has the same part number as the dealer for $199.95
BTW that is the same part number I've ordered many times for LT's
