Canisterectomy

I have an 03 LT.
What is the advantage of performing a "Canisterectomy"?

Thumbs up Re: Canisterectomy

So if/when you ever overfill your fuel tank (which allows raw fuel into the charcoal canister, and plugs it up), it won't stall your bike whilst underway, or worse....cave your fuel tank in from the negative pressure. Get rid of it....one of the easiest things I've ever done, and great piece of mind.

I wish I could think of clever things to say in my signature.
