10K miles on tires? Try 10K on a side stand.

I just got around to servicing the LT for another 3K miles.

While I had her up and apart I decided to replace another side stand.

While some of you are getting 10K on a set of tires, others of us only get 10K out of our side stands.

_ Why is there never enough time to do it right the first time, but always enough time to do it over?

You have to grow up to have a mid-life crisis!!!!!

I could play with women or with cars, I find cars are cheaper and you can write a book about cars a guy would understand.

New shocks = increased ride height = greater lean angle = 12k from your next side stand.

You NEED some shocks my friend. Order the Ohlins with the heavy springs!!!

You're supposed to ride with the side stand up!

Knowing where he rides and seeing pictures I can definitely see it happening. On my second trip to Deal's Gap I seemed to hear quite a bit of scraping the left and even a bit on the right. High revs, lower speeds and sharp turns can do that.
