EHCS Problems

Well after doing a repair job on the pot metal casing all seemed good (see previous post).

But I have had the EHCS light flash on various occasions, just idling, while doing speed. Also have had times when the button is pushed nothing happens? I have checked connections for the main plug, the centerstand sense switch all seems good.
Anyone have any ideas as to what could cause this?
I have also been having the bucking bronco, or it just doesn't have enough to get over the hump, I know I need to add a little more hyd oil.

Re: EHCS Problems

Don't know about the flashing light - maybe a loose connection? Add a little bit of fluid at a time until the bucking goes away. I did that and bench ran it in the horizontal position until I could just hear the relief valve open at the end of travel (the motor will sound different). Just don't put too much in ... well you already know that. At least all I did was blow out the o-ring so I got lucky.
