Rough At Start Up
I have an 05 LT that I purchased the end of March this year. It had 10,200 miles on it and during the previous year had been ridden 1000 miles. When I first got it I didn't notice any issues, but during the last two weeks or so it seem that when I start it up cold(sitting for several hours or over night) it will try and stall out on me if I start to give it gas, if I let it idle for a minute or two, no problems. I've pulled away from my parking spot and at the first stop sign had it stall on me. This has happen twice. Again, once I've got a mile or two down the road no problem, and if I stop somewhere and come back out a short time later it runs with out any problems. I'm thinking once it warms up it's fine.
When I first purchased my 99 LT the sales rep told me I didn't need to let it warm up, just start it and go. If I do this now, the bike dies.
I ride every day, just about, and have put 2800 mile on it since I picked it up this past March. I run high-test gas from the same stations that I normally buy from and have put Sea Foam in the fuel to clean out the system. Iíve run about half a tank through so far.
Any ideas what may be going on?
