Looking for a CB antenna mount

I'm looking for a original - possible used - CB antenna mount bracket for my LT. (right side) I don't need the antenna - only the bracket.

Living in Norway - and using PayPal for payment!

regards

Re: Looking for a CB antenna mount

It will be very hard to find it second hand, but a new one you can buy in any BMW-dealership for ±150 €

If you have a vise and a big hammer you can probably make your own with a piece of steel bar stock. Being a frugal person, my wife says CHEAP, I did just that. Used the AM/FM bracket as a model and made mirror image pattern with some cardboard, cut out the outline and beat it into shape with a bench vise and a hammer. Works great and cost about $2.00.

Re: Looking for a CB antenna mount

Thank all for reply!

Yes - call for a used one was/is probably a bit in the blue, but it could be someone having one laying arround

And making one - yes sure - possible , but would need quite a bit of work to get it nice looking ?!?

I found that the price for a new one - was not that bad - even in Norway - So I ordered one in my local shop.

I will be using it for a 70cm comm radio antenna. Short, but will give me some 4db gain if I'm lucky !
