Wink Re: info. please

Alan, I did a search and found these numbers in a thread which I am posting a link to as well:

"Bosch 3330 vs Bosch 72161
I read Mark Lawrence's article about oil and oil filters on a thread here and his web site at http://motorcycleinfo.calsci.com/FilterXRef.html and saw that there were several oil filters recommended for the K bike and the Bosch 3330 was on that list. I tried finding any technical differences between the two and I was wondering if anyone has used these before. I have seen that a lot of people use the Purolator PL10241, but the body is coated with some gold texture and I would not dare use that because of possible flaking. Any advice would be appreciated.

Re: info. please

Do NOT forget to take the sticker off the Bosch filter before installing. It peels right off.

Talking Re: info. please

Glad to be of assistance Allan! Looking at your map in your signature, you're gonna have to start adding stripes or something to show those states you guys have multiple visits to!!

And do not forget to remove any labels from the filter before installing, as has already been said here!

Enjoy your journeys,

John
