Front Brake Lever Issue

Everytime I go to use the front brake lever the second squeeze is always firmer than the first; the first being a little bit spongy but only relative to the second. The front brake fluid reservoir is full and the brake pads are still in good shape (don't know the brand or age though). The front brakes work just fine otherwise. Any ideas?

Reference information: 2001 LTC with ABS 12K miles

Air in the system someplace.

I don't know if the '01 had the dual circuit system or not - but one of 'em, if you got two, or the one has some air in it.

Classic symptomology.

Why... yes of course

Well, of course... that makes since. I'll bleed the brakes and replace the fluid. I've been meaning to since I didn't know for sure the age of the fluid. I bought the bike used not too long ago. Big Thanks!
