On the dash indicator.

What is the square box with a "down arrow" in a broken or electrical symbol. It is next to the gear position indicator.

thanks,
dale

Re: dash indicator

While the manual does not give a good explanation, it is tied to a voltage monitor and triggers at 10.7 volts. This is explaned in the EHCS fault area of the manual and that is the ONLY place it is listed.

My cut is that it falsely "faults" occationally in its sampling of the onboard voltage. If it stays on for an extended time I would check you battery voltage other wise ignore it.

Re: dash indicator

thanks,

that makes sense now. I didnt notice it until, I disconnected and reconnected the battery in an attempt to fix the radio not working, "which it did."

the indicator goes out after a few second of engine start.
