Immobiliser nightmare part 2 (pics)
I'm pretty sure this is not a standard BMW fitted immobiliser, but can anyone id it from the pics? There are NO id markings on it anywhere!

I don't know if this will help, but you might want to consider taking it out - there is a complete alarm system for sale right now in the classifieds for $100.00. Might be the easiest route to go...

Nope, definitely not the OEM alarm system. Looks like something from an auto customizing shop. You'd probably search long & hard before figuring out who made it.
I second Ron's recommendation. When he gets the proper amount of rest, and takes his meds...he's purty smart!
