Question RT to LT swap - Thoughts?

Hi All

I'm wondering. Who here has swapped from an RT or other similar machine to an LT? If so what were/are your thoughts?

I must say that I keep looking at the LT and thinking that it's the best of the Uber-tourer bikes and that I must try one someday.

Re: RT to LT swap - Thoughts?

Ive had several RT's and four LT's. I think the LT is THE best bike in the world, but it's not for everybody. It's a big beastie, but once you get moving you don't notice the bulk so much. It can be a pain (but not impossible) to filter through traffic, just be prepared to pull over and let the sportsbike riders through!
LT problems are well documented here, but personally I don't think are any worse than any other machine. If you like your comfort, and a nice relaxing ride get an LT.

Don't swap! Keep the RT and go buy an LT. You will have the best of both worlds. Yes the LT is a big machine and once you have about 5 hours of riding under your belt the RT will seem like a toy. Keep em both in the inventory of boy toys if the budget allows it. I did!

Good luck
