Low beam/taillight fuse problem

Started with a rear tire change...no connection that I can see but that is when it started. No low beam (I have the HID conversion). Of course I checked the more difficult HID fuse first, it was fine. Then remembered to check the 7.5 fuse in the block. It was blown. I disconnected the taillights at the connector, still blows. Disconnected the HID light, still blows. What else might be running thru that fuse? This bike has so many farkles by the DPO that I'm not sure where to begin. It has running lights in the front TS, they do not seem to be working either. And before anyone says it, I did a search, came up dry for my particular problem. The Wings of Gold haven't been working for a while, think the bulbs came out of the wings. And the Hi beam and PIAAs work fine. I read somewhere that the PIAAs feed from the low beam. Evidently not in my case.

Just old, clutchless and clueless
