That is a Bergman or Vespa with the BMW logo on it.

thats total bs. Heck it would have to sell for ten grand and no way you can get that for a scooter.

No matter where you go , there you are.

May actually be a BMW. I think I saw oil dripping from the final drive.

I'm not so sure - even though it's a pic from the side, the front end looks like the usual BMW "kidney" grille.

If it's a real BMW product I'd absolutely consider it when the time comes.
if it's a clever mock-up, I still like it!

Or for those with any number of physical or age-induced limitations. Scooters open up the world of motorcycling for a lot of people who otherwise would be in a car, or just don't want to (or can't) shift a motorcycle.

IMO, we all win when someone rides a scooter.

I've nothing against scoots or those using them to further their mobility, providing responsibility also plays a key part.. Seems though that cheap (inexpensive) tends to lend itself to the cheap, often inexperienced and irresponsible fools. Not all of them but certainly enough so.

A scooter opens up the world of scootering, not motorcycling!

Nothing wrong with a Burgman or Vespa . I have owned two Burgmans 400& 650 , Great machines . The 650 was a good short tour machine . As for shifting or not , I can do both . I did not buy the Burgmans because I could not shift . I bought them to commute with . If I could justify it I would still own a scooter to commute with . That being said I absolutely love touring on my LT .

Okay, somebody has to ask:

What type of oil would be best to use in it?

What is the best tire for it?

And lastly,

Does anyone make a more comfortable seat for it?

I have nothing against scooters. Just for the record the image is just that. Its a cad rendering and no such scooter exists at the moment.

I think I will trade my wifes 50 cc Vespa scooter in on one of these when they come out. She has been looking for a horsepower upgrade.

Re: Pictures of the next LT !!!

It looks nice, but nothing more than all other new scooters around.

The 800cc and 70HP engine looks promising, though.

In any case, I won't switch to a scooter, I tried them several times and I can never feel safe & stable on them, like on a real motorbike. It's just me probably, but I don't have to ride to a city office so I can still avoid scooters

Re: Pictures of the next LT !!!

The mileage is not great due to a relatively large engine and the CVT auto trans--even with a "lockup" overdrive. I hope the gas tank is large enough for extended range (200+ miles).

Love scooters, here's my 1957 Allstate and loved the Harley Topper I had.
