Fuse question

After doing the speedo re-calibration I put the bike back together and found the radio not working. During disassembly of the dash I know I shorted the dash light and probably blew the fuse, upon inspection a fuse was indeed blown. Anyone know if the the radio runs off the same fuse as the dash light? and where can you get these fuses from, never seen anything like them before.

thanks

Ron

Re: Fuse question

I've had to replace a couple and don't remember them being hard to find. I'd guarantee it was either Wallmart or Autozone.

On my 2003LT, fuse #8 (15A) runs the radio and the map light, interior light for the top case, and the power socket for the top case. Mine uses standard automotive fuses that are available at any auto parts store.

Re: Fuse question

4AMP (pink) fuses are hard to find seperately. You are better off getting from the BMW dealer.
