hitch height?

Hi all,
I'm having a custom trailer built to pull behind my '05 LT. I have not yet purchased and installed the hitch on the bike but I need to know the height of the hitch for the trailer maker.
Would any of you be so kind as to measure(with bike straight up) the height of your hitch from the ground to the top of the hitch plate that the ball mounts on? The type of hitch and whether the bike is on the centerstand would be informative as well. Thanks for any info you can provide.

I have a 2000 K1200LTC. With the bike on the center stand the top of the hitch plate is 14.5 inches from the floor.

I use a Hitch Doc hitch.

Call me if I can be of any other help.

Re: hitch height?

I beleive they all fall nearly even with the center of the rear tire. Kind of helps the stability.
