Angry gear box oil drain tool

what is the size of the hex tool used to loosen the gear box drain plug on my 2002 LT???

It should be a 14mm.

... and one of the auto supply stores in the US of A (Auto Zone ???) has a kit of three hex tools for about $12, one of which is the size you need.

Yep, and the AutoZone kit also includes a 12mm allen, which is useful for taking the rear swing arm out when changing the clutch slave cylinder.
