Thumbs up New FD by GM

Was reading a review of the new to the US BMW 333d. Turbo diesel power four door sedan.

"a six-speed automatic transmission supllied by General Motors takes care of shifting"

Maybe Just Maybe we should have our FD's made by GM.

Re: New FD by GM

Wouldn't do that one either. My car's differential's limited slip gov. exploded at 35k miles. In fact almost all of them in that model car did it between 100 miles & 60k miles. They refused to cover it (out of warrenty) or admit there was a problem, even though they replaced the broken saginaw units with auburns.
