Talking Unusual paint job for an LT!

I found this picture on the internet. Has anyone seen this bike out there. Not your usual LT paint scheme.

Never been down yet!

That's a dangerous paint job; I don't like my chances with that on my bike.

Well it's distracting enough as it is. If she was facing the other way though-----------.

I guess you wouldn't want to put a tank bag on this bike, but a fanny pack around the oddment box cover might add an interesting twist.

And just when I thought . . . Oh, n/m

Just another Harley-ized Beemer.

Oh! . . . What's next? Flames?
Dragons?
Dead skulls maybe?
Or...how about ALL the above? Yea, THAT'S IT!!! A nekkid whore, riding a demonized dragon, through a sea of skulls, with flames shooting out of it's butt!

How freakin' "cool" would THAT be?!?!

Yea...that would be a REAL head-turner!

Go for it guys!

Some people see the gas tank as half empty. Some see it as half full. All I care is that I know where the next tankful is coming from...

Not likely. If we lost Joe from this site it would be boring. Besides ----- I usually agree with his comments, including this one. I'm painting mine this way to better match my career --------and I enjoy being different--that is one of the reasons I went with the Beemer over HD and Goldwing which turned out to be a VERY good choice (IMHO). I promise not to adorn it with fringe or teddy-bears though !!

Talking

so i'm blearyeyed this fine morning, having just crawled outta bed, when i decided to take a look at the "unusual" paint job pic. yep, unusual all right--some kind of interesting blotches on the tank truck lid and neat swirls on the sides, oh, and lookee the dolphin--owner must be a saltwater fisherman too. so then i began perusing the responses to this seemingly innocuous paint job and came across Jerrod's warning on the dangers of this paint job.
Dangerous?
WHA???
so i went back to the photo and looked again. How I missed it the first time is beyond me, but now that i actually see what the painting is, two things immediately come to mind: 1. will BMW be offering this paint scheme as an option on future bikes, and 2. i wonder if Escher's publisher would be interested in another painter?
everyone has their own preferences about what they want to do to their bike but personally, i'd rather just enjoy the color i chose without any eye candy--or poison, as the case may be--cluttering up my view. besides, i think the custom ornament hanging off my bike looks better and as an added bonus, it not only comes off the bike easily, it also cooks my dinner and makes sure i'm a happy man all the live-long day....

I figured you'd get it, Joe. Sometimes subtle works just fine. Hm, maybe this should be moved to the Humor forum?
