Howdy Tim,

"Words of wisdom"?, perhaps, but unlikely. However I did hook up an Autoswitch for a set of lights.

The Autoswitch has an LED that will indicate whether the device is on, or off. Rather than mount the LED by drilling on the bike, I put it behind the dash light with a tie-wrap.

The LED light is clearly visible through the lens at night.

Make sure that you put the LED indicator where it can be seen during the day. It's relatively easy to tell if the aux lights are on at night - you can see them. The LED is a good reminder when you have them on during the day.

Lots of good info on the old site. Check out this thread, for example.
