Secret code for re-setting Motronic?

I've read that to re-calibrate my fuel light I need to go to the dealer when the tank is at the point where I want the light to come on. Really?? Isn't there a super-secret button somewhere?

Re: Secret code for re-setting Motronic?

Nope. The dealer must use the ModiTech computer tool to set the low fuel light.

I don't know if the makers of the GS-911 plan to incorporate that in their software but I guess I could ask.

Re: Secret code for re-setting Motronic?

GS-911 works on almost all BMW bikes including the CAN Bus bikes. It covers the Motronic readouts and the Integral ABS, and recently they added the ABS II to its inventory. Search for GS-911 registry for a list of people that have them and their location.
