Instrument cluster glare

When the sun is behind me, or in front of me I get glare from the clear plastic lens covering the instruments. I saw a thread about this and looked around for anything that imparts a flat non-reflective surface. I am particularly interested in a static cling type that I can remove and not scratch the instrument cluster lens. Any ideas?

At least I thought I was dancing, til someone stepped on my tongue.

Try your local auto supply shops (Kragen, Checker, Napa, etc.) or the auto department at WalMart. Look for a light shade of window tinting film, either for side mirrors, or for the top of the windshield. either kind should give you more than enough film. As a bonus, you can cut a thin strip to go on your helmet visor from the extra film.

Some people see the gas tank as half empty. Some see it as half full. All I care is that I know where the next tankful is coming from...

Wally..
yeah.. if you are a Wallmarter lookin the RV section... They sell a roll of "statick cling" for RV's... it's about 6 inches wide.. you can also use it for temporary visor shade by cutting a piece to stick inside your helmet visor.

BTW.. what year's your bike?
