Appearance of another FD failure

Forth time in five days, I saw another disabled KLT on the side of the road. This one had a very pissed-off passenger. Anyone here?

91 Freeway Anaheim California into /Yorba Linda towards Corona around 4:30PM. The Owner was on his cell while inspecting the rear drive.

Just curious. Was this another FD failure or another issue all together involving the area around the read drive.

Re: Appearance of another FD failure

There are a lot of LTs in this neck of the wood. Enough to be as common as a Gold Wing. Heck, because of year round perfect riding weather motorcycles in Souther california is as common as a Toyota. There are also a couple of weekend Harley type LT group rides down the 15 Freeway. Rode with them once.

I'm sure it wasn't a tire. I drove by slow enough to see him inspecting and point at the rear drive area while on the phone. I wanted to stop and offer help, I have a plug kit for motorcycles and a mini compressor and I can do a lot of mechical work on most motorcycles.

If it had been a HD or a naked Japanese bikes, I probably (Maybe) could have got him back on the road, but I'm outta my league when it comes to LTs and potential mechanical problems.

Funny, had it been a HD, he would have gotten help from fellow riders within minutes oh his breakdown. And you should se the HD crowd that develops if one actually goes down. Kinda of the way thinks work I guess.
