Puzzling observation

Last week I had both tires replaced with new ones and the ride has been exceptional. Tonight in going out to the garage I noticed a small puddle of liquid around the front wheel. I have checked all of the fluid levels and can find no evidence of any problems. The liquid has the appearance of coming from around the tire rim. Any ideas on what this fluid could be?

Did you clean your windscreen?

I once did in the garage and noticed liquid around the front tire and freaked.. until I realized it had dripped down the fairing and onto the floor around the wheel.

Re: Puzzling observation

Does it smell like anything? Is it oily? What color? Maybe the brake piston fell out of the caliper when changing the tires and its brake fluid?

Re: Puzzling observation

It may be the lube they used to mount the tire on the rim.
