Question Lower the LT

A former '07 LT owner told me he had a BMW tech lower his LT by adjusting the shocks. Not talking about the under seat adjustment. This was done on the sly to avoid a warranty issue.

Anyone hear of this?

Re: Lower the LT

A service manager of a bmw shop noticed the distance between the bottom of the fairing and the top of the front fender seemed lower than normal and suggested the front strut on my LT might be bent or need adjustment. Coincidentally, I had my bike in for a 12K inspection today and I asked them to inspect the front end. The answer, the strut was lowered/shortened. The strut is not bent.

I have the opposite problem. I want it higher. I'm also losing ground clearance as a result which has created some undesired rubs more frequently than I would prefer, as well.
