$10.00 LED Turn Signals

Hi guys,

I hope everyone made (or makes) it back from CCR safely (I live 45 minutes from the resort so I'm home already). It was a great event as usual.

For the first time in three years I had my bike at the rally. Many people asked about my red LED turn signal arrows so I thought I'd let everyone know where to get them (see attached photo).

I bought mine at WalMart for $8.00, but I haven't found any there lately. You can, however, get them online. Here are a couple of links I quickly located:

http://www.autobarn.net/ciadar.html

http://automirrors4less.com/cipa-add...ndicators.html

To search the web, use the phrase "Add-A-Signal."

Happy hunting...

You wire them into the system.

Hey, Larry - anybody ax ya about your tipover bumper covers with the LED lights hooked up with the LT's turn signals?? I recently installed mine, and like 'em a lot. Easy install. That gives me the normal OEM turn signals on ole Toad, plus the Muth signal LEDs in the mirrors, and now turn signals viewable from the side.

I can't remember who vends these for ya - Raffy, maybe? And you know that mine are a leetle different in the array than your regular set up - ole Toad shows amber LEDs along the leading edge of the cover, and red LEDs along the trailing edge; with a break/gap between the two to allow for a touchdown if we get tired!!

Re: $10.00 LED Turn Signals

Hi Dick,

The tip-over wing LEDs were a big hit at the CCR, but I couldn't do installs for them at the rally--has to be done on my bench. I expect a bunch of tip-over wings in the mail shortly.

The turn signal arrows have a thin wire at the point that I tucked behind the glass and ran down to the bike's turn signal. Easy install.
