Center stand part question

Hello again, I have a 2005 K1200LT and the center stand has stopped working. In checking out this problem I found a broken part and can not find it on any parts fiche. I called a number of dealers and they can not identify the part either.

The part is located on the right side of the bike and attached with one screw. The part is located at the bumper stop of the hydralic center stand. I am not sure if it is a switch to detect if the center stand is up or down or if it is a relay.

When working with it I can get the center stand light located on the dash to blink on an off. Does any one have any idea what this part is and how do I locate a part number to replace it?

I will be heading to Columbus this weekend and have a dealer look at the part and hope the can find a part number to order.

Thanks
