I see my wallet getting much lighter!!!

Well, the dreaded rear transmission seal started leaking on my 03 LT last week, and sure enough my clutch started slipping today. Bob's is backed up until end of Sept. and I don't have the tools nor time to do it myself.

My guess is with the seals, clutch and the like probably looking at $2000.00

A couple of questions;

1) How far can I drive the bike until no clutch at all?
I probably need a good 150-200 miles to get her home then to Bob's.

2) Is there anybody in the Baltimore area that knows another good BMW bike mechanic other then Bob's? I like those folks a good bit but I ride the bike everyday and being down almost a month is killing me.

I plan on a slave cylinder, and rear main while it's apart. Plus a drilling of the slave cylinder. Any other suggestions?
