LT FD bites dust in Grand Canyon

Not posting to rag or bash the LT...just passing on info.

On the FJR forum that I also frequent (traded my LT for an FJR) a group did a ride to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon this weekend 8-23-08. When they arrived, they saw a LT getting strapped down on a flatbed (to be towed to SLC). Fluid all over the rear wheel. Guy said he was from Michigan and on a big cross-country ride with other BMW riders.

Wondering if he is on the list here. Bike was Canyon Red.

A few sad pics: FJR Forum post

I didn't get rid of my LT because of this possible scenario...but it did factor in.
