Unhappy newbe needs help

Help! Trying to do EBC rear rotor upgrade on my 03 LT. Problem is I cannot get the 2 tapered allen head bolts loose, have heated per manual instructions, also have tried shocking with punch and hammer. I'm about to round the allen heads out. Any suggestions will be appreciated

Re: newbe needs help

If you are that far along that you will be rounding out the hex,
Take a small drill bit and drill into the center go about as deep as the bolt.
Try breaking free.
No?
Try next drill bit larger.

Eventually the bolt will twist out.

Don't do an EZ out unless it is the last resort.
The last thing you want is to break an EZ out in the bolt.
At least you will have the hole available if you need it..
