My new to me LT

Well I've rode almost 1000 miles in the two or three weeks I've had it. Put a new rear tire on. Metzler. Easiest tire ever to remove and put back on. It rode pretty darn good until I put the new tire on. Now it really rides like a dream. Man is it smooth. Finally figured out the radio buttons. I ordered the Dice converter for an ipod. Ordered Dynabeads to see if the ride could get any better. (i doubt it). I will be removing the 6 disk changer and the CB radio. Hopefully someone will buy them and the Dice Converter will be free...... I never thought I would love a geezer glide but it sure is smooth. To much wind in your face, touch the button and raise the windshield. So far this is the best bike I've had. Cruise is a blast!!! Music is great. No problem hearing it. I'm tickled sh**less. Everyone should be so lucky as to ride one.........

Re: My new to me LT

the more you ride your lt the more you will like it. very nice handling bike for the size and weight. had a gl 1500 prior and tho' it was a great bike, to me the lt was a perfect fit the first time i released the clutch. easily my personal favorite bike of all time. i think is much easier at parking lot speeds than a 1500. just me maybe. i am running dyna beads in my tires. can't give much feedback other than the bike is smoother than hell through the entire range. i believe time will tell. welcome to the fold.

Re: My new to me LT

Ride it like it is a BMW. When I first got mine I rode it like a big geezer bike. Then I read here that it is really a sport bike with a lot of farkle. I started riding it like a sport bike and it runs better and I love it. I have a M-Roadster that I drive the heck of and finally figured that you can do the same to a BMW motorcycle. The quote is "ride it like you stole it" Ok who said it?

Ride 'em if you got 'em.
