24K Service

It's time for a tupperware adventure. I bought my LT about a year ago and my fuel gauge hasn't ever worked accurately. I figured that I would reset it when I replaced the air/fuel filters and the time has come.

After reading the BMW Manual, I have learned that the immersion-tube sensor can't be recalibrated without a BMW computer. Is this true? Is everyone who replaces the fuel filter at home driving around without a working
fuel gauge?

Any suggestions?
