99' Speedo Sensor Leaking

My FD has started to leak around the speedo sensor. I have searched and searched but since the majority of this community has newer bikes than 99' to 01' (after which the Speedo sensor design was changed) I am having trouble finding any info. Anyone elses old bike doing this or am I the lucky one?

There is an o-ring on the unit - it is probably cracked.

excellent, I noticed this last night after I got home from work. I just haven't had a chance to look at it. Thanks for the info.

I went to Harbor Frieght and just bought their jumbo assortment of nitrile O rings.

It's gotten me through a lot of projects. Well worth the 6 or so bucks...

The HF o-ring kit also has the size for the pivot parts on the center stand. Two on each one.
