According to federal safety investigators, on some of these motorcycles, during long rides at a constant highway speed, the motorcycle’s vibration can cause the brake fluid in the brake fluid reservoir to foam. If that happens it can allow air to enter the front brake system. Air in your brake system can lead to a dangerous loss of braking ability and that can increase the danger of a crash.
