Lt Radio Help Needed

A buddy has an LT (02) in which the radio power amp is going bad and it is losing channels. Does the "head unit" (radio/cd unit) contain the amp(s)? He has the single CD player/radio unit in his stingray compartment.

Yup, the CD unit in the stingray also contains the amplifier.

Cool...thanks a ton. Does anyone know if ANY unit from an 02 would work in another 02?

They should, I have a radio problem also so i had Tony @ LTparts.com send me a replacement to try. As long as it is the same as old one IE single CD unit for a single CD or cassette for cassette unit it should work.
