Metzeler ME880/ Dyna Beads/windshield?

Good evening folks!!!! Got my new Metezler ME 880 front tire on yesterday and had Dyna Beads installed at the same time. The old tire had 15,800 miles on it but the rear had been changed before I bought the bike. The Dyna Beads work great!!!!! Smooth as glass from 0 to 85 mph.Well worth the price... Today was my first good rain that i have driven in and with the windshield up all the way i was still getting the rain from the windshield right into my face. This is a stock shield and I am 6ft 1 in. I thought the rain would go over me and i hate to think of the poor 2nd up person behind me. Any ideas from you long time riders. By the way the Frogtogs worked great also.

Cee Bailey #2, stock height keeps the rain off me and my pillion. I am 6'3", and still think it's a little tall.

With the curvature at the top, it makes it actually higher than stock. I would probably go with a Cee Bailey #2 -2 next time. Wife loves it though.

Maybe try the Cee Bailey wind screen, it has a little "flip" at the top that should help with water in the face. But in a hard driving rain, nothing is going to keep your face dry short of a full face helmet.

Mind if I ask how much you paid for the Dyna beads? I have a pair of ME 880's otw and was going to go the beads route for balancing.

Sorry to sound dumb, but what are Dyna Beads and what do they do? By the way, the standard windshield on my 05 LT works fine for me at 6'1"

They eliminate the need for balance weights, you put them inside the tire and they balance it.

I agree that they claim to eliminate the need. They also advise not to check it with a dynamic balancer because their beads though off the readings.
