Unhappy Radio Help Seek button

I just finished the install of a new J&M comm system and it seems to work great. ( replaced a dead BC1)

In the system check out I noted that the seek button both front and back no longer funtions but the volume function of the same switches works just fine.
So in a nut shell I can't change CD's tracks or radio channels.

Any body got a wiring diagram for the external radio control wiring?

I saw somewhere a pin out diagram of the large plug on the back of the radio, can anyone help me find that again, I assume the loose connection I'm looking for might reside there. I assume one of those wires affects the seek channel change function.

Anybody got any ideas before I rip the stingray appart on a search mission..

Wiring Diagram

Does anyone know where I can view and electronic copy of the bike wiring diagram?

Could my problem be related to the fact the radio was disconnected from power and may have lost its memory?

Even so it still should control the CD, right?

I'd give Charlie at J&M Tech Support a call at 1-800-358-0881...he/they are great to deal with and they may be able to point you to the pin or connector that's acting up.

I'm not a BMW radio expert here, but if the new J&M was not a direct replacement for the BC1 you removed, I would suspect that you WOULD lose the ability to control the CD and radio seek functions. I don't have an electrical diagram so I'm just taking a SWAG here.

YMMV
