Owner of 2005 with CD Changer. Please look here.

I'm try to help a friend who lives in Brazil and has a new 2005LT with CD Changer but has no idea on model of it.
I belive all 2005 will have the same changer and I'm looking for an iPod adapter for his bike, so would be great if any one here can tell me the radio and/or cd changer model of yours 2005 model.

Thank you

Talking Owner of 2005 w/CD changer look here.

If the new 2005 LT has the V.O.I.C.E. II system , all he needs to hook up his IPOD is the cable from the IPOD to the VOICE II jack. If he doesn't have the VOICE system, he may need some kind of adapter.

He doesn't have the V.O.I.C.E.
I'm trying to find the cd changer model so I can find which adapter would work on his bike.

Actually, if someone who had the 2002 LT can tell me if the CD Changer cables are the same on the new 2005LT then I can compare with my bike and find the right device.
THank you

AFAIK, ALL BMW LT's use the same changer as what's in "most" BMW auto's (but NOT the ones w/ the built-in NavSystem(s).

Don't know if the changer model will help all that much. Icelink does list the LT in their catalog. It uses the BMW 120 T (trunk kit). Unless something has changed recently the only issue is the 05 won't show the text info.
