New to Community

Hello to all,
I am new to this site and would like to express my thanks to all who make this area available. What a great asset to the new owner. I recently purchased a 2000 K1200ltc and have found myself here very often. The weather in Pittsburgh Pa has really limited riding the new bike, this site has provided a great deal of information and help for a guy with a bike thats new to him. I have been very pleased with this bike and equally as happy that I found such a community associated with it. I look forward to the upcoming riding season and wish all a very happy and safe holiday. Denny

Welcome!

Welcome to the best forum out there for LT information and advice.

I'm due west of you about 3 hours -- SE of Columbus. My first "big trip" is going to be a visit to the west side of Pittsburgh (Moon Twp.) to visit my brother. I may shoot you a PM when that happens, but it won't be until Spring at this point.

Welcome from another Pa. resident. Boy the weather really has sucked lately. I haven't had the LT out for two weeks now and I'm going thru serious withdrawl. Lots of black ice in unsuspecting area's, however it looks the roads are going to clear up enough by the end of the week so I'm hoping to get a little ridding in.
I'm not sure how much you have ridden your LT, I can only tell you that this bike is the perfect bike for me and my wife. A real joy to ride and fits me perfectly. I have not had any of the problems some have about the tip over effect, but then again one of my last bikes was a clc and that bike took several thousand miles to feel comfortable at low speeds. When I first rode an Lt it felt like a sport bike to me compared to the cl.
If you think you like your bike now wait until ridding season really starts .........your going to love this bike!
I'm hoping the Farmer's Aluminic will be right again this coming year, predicting a very cold and snowy December ( that's come true) and a much milder Jan. and Feb. at least here in SE Pa.

Welcome, my bike is in for a winter's nap, it seems like it gonna be forever, I know. We sometimes ride to the BMW dealer there on rt 19 near the pa turnpike (sorta). Its where my bro-in-law bought his K1200GT. They'll be a good resource for you too.

Just Go
