Unhappy I wanna ride!

I had surgery over a month ago on my elbow and I'm still waiting for the Dr to clear me to ride. Normally this wouldn't be a problem because I would just ride anyway but my wife won't let me! Any suggestions on how to distract my wife so I can ride?

Everytime a see a motorcycle on the road I start getting withdrawl symptoms!

Some people see the gas tank as half empty. Some see it as half full. All I care is that I know where the next tankful is coming from...

Re: I wanna ride!

Pull out your wallet and give her the credit card and tell her to go buy a couple new outfits. Make sure see take a friend with and maybe even buy an all day spa treatment for her. She will never know, and if she does find out she will be so happy that you will get the look and maybe an idiot comment but if your like most men it will just roll off. Have fun.

I could play with women or with cars, I find cars are cheaper and you can write a book about cars a guy would understand.

OK, it's one of those "once in a 'wife-time' things". "Sorry dear, I won't do it again...".

Then duck!

Re: I wanna ride!

Like I always say.......It is better to beg forgiveness than ask permission !

On the other side side....don't force it on the elbow. I had two shoulder surgeries, right one in August 06 and the left in November 06. Bought my LT in mid August 06 two weeks before the surgery

I pushed it too early. screwed up my right shoulder since it hadn't fully healed and had to use it to compensate for my newly cut up left shoulder.

Looking at having to re-slice-n-dice the right should to repair. It's a heavy bike. When I almost lost it ( nap time) at an intersection stop due to some sand in the road, holding that fat pig up was all I had, and probably part of the re-damage.

So wax it, shine it sit on it, but don't push it.

Good luck

Re: I wanna ride!

Thanks for all of the advice. I bought her a new car for Christmas and I bought her a new motorcycle last year so I can't use those ideas.

On a "good" note, it is raining here and is supposed to rain for the next few days. I'm seeing the DR on Tuesday and should get the green light. If there is anyone in the Richmond, VA area wanting to ride, just shoot me a PM!
