Need trunk handle.

My SO has flopped the trunk open for the last time ( and it's only once ). Has anyone found a handle for the back of the trunk to hang onto to control the opening and closing?
I also need one for her CLC!

Re: Need trunk handle.

Use a good looking kitchen drawer handle. Mount it to the lower portion of the top lid.

Re: Need trunk handle.

Totally agree with using a kitchen drawer handle. Found one at a local hardware store that has a brushed aluminum finish with a radius on it. Ground the legs with a Dremel to match the curve on the trunk. Works really well.

Re: Need trunk handle.

3M makes those "command" hooks that require no drilling and hold a ton. Maybe you could fashion a handle that uses the mounting strips for them (you can buy the strips seperately).
