Oldest LT?

A little early for any celebrations yet, but I had a thought that might it be interesting to find out who or where is the oldest still running K1200LT, at least owned by a forum member, since its getting on towards 10 years since the old girl was introduced in '99, and I know there's still a few of you running '99ers on the forum.
What would give it away, earliest VIN number?

I must have an old 99. Mine shows 70438. The dealer set it aside for me in March 99. I have about 45,000 miles on it now.

72069 here and 51,000 miles with no problems. I keep all my vehicles forever, so I don't really think of it as old.

Re: Oldest LT?

Just bought my bike, it's a 99 "S" reg (UK) never seen one before always "T" reg onwards. Was originally owned by BMW UK and have been told it was in the fleet tested by the UK press. Despite that, it runs and drives like a dream and is in beautiful condition. Will find out vin later today

72113: 2nd owner, I think it sat a bit before I got possession of it. New FD and clutch last year. 45k (speedo reads 18k though, guess it was replaced at some point) and now running splendidly.

Mine is 71326. 30k on the clock. I've owned it longer and rode it more than
any of the dozen or so bikes owned. Can't see myself ever selling her.

Forget all you 70000 guys. My '99 was 44590, manufactured in week 48 1998. Of course it was a UK bike and it's no longer on the road, but still . . .

The record so far is 330K miles on a '99 which was still running strong when a little old lady took it out.

Thanks, I guess the Canadian serial number is considered Europeon. How does this compare with the US ones, 03/1999 as the oldest still running?
