LT Backrest vibration

Just taken a new LT Lux out for a test with the wife on pillion. She reported a high frequency vibration through the backrest which got so annoying that she had to sit forward off the backrest to relieve the tingle in her back.....
I felt no vibration at all through the seat. Top box and panniers were all empty.
Anyone had a similar fault? What could be causing this.
Dispite this small problem I went ahead and bought the bike..Thought it was great.
Appreciate any help guys/gals.

I don't know if this will be of any help but this was my experience. After having the bike for a day or two I heard a lot of vibration coming from the back of the bike when I rode it around the neighborhood without a helmet on. I brought it back home and found that just about every screw for rack and topcase had to be tighened considerably. There have been no vibrations heard since nor has my wife complained. Good luck

Hhmmn... I've never heard this complaint. Maybe the top box wasn't latched? Or maybe you had the stereo up too loud and she was feeling the speakers vibrating. Stop listening to RAP!

Hey now Joe, that's prejudicial against those who may enjoy that type of music. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean . . . blah, blah, blah.

Did'ja hear they've now combined country music with rap? It's down home, it's hip, it's C-rap!

Some people see the gas tank as half empty. Some see it as half full. All I care is that I know where the next tankful is coming from...

I know, just bored. Wish I would've brought my helmet, as it's a brisk 16F out here and I could've at least gone for a ride.
