Talking More Fighter Projects

Okay, so now I'm torn! My kid didn't like the fighter project so I made up some more. He likes option 3 the best. Again, just trying to make my bike look meaner... K1200LT is the most awesome touring bike but since I gave up my jigster I kinda miss the sound and look of it!

All are GREAT! BTW...what are you using to do that...Your work is very nice.

#1...most subtle...I like.
#2...Like it if the rivits were smaller.
#3...Looks nice...but not my favorite...try a desert camo for kicks.
#4...Looks very nice...but I think a more kinked wave would look better.

My fave...#2 w/ smaller rivits.
Second fave...#4 w/ more kink.

You're gonna make you decision harder the more versions you come up with.
Please try the desert camo scheme...I just want to see it.

Another vote for #4! It might be just me, but I like my bike to stand out more. Camo seems to be going in the wrong direction. I get enough folks driving into me as it is.

I like #4 as well.

I saw one that had the P-40 Warhawk Shark on the fairing. I've forgotten where the heck I saw it. Probably here, but CRS prevents me from recalling.

Never mind. Here it is and it's Grif's

I woke up, did a search, and lo and behold there it was. Looks like you got to it nearly the same time.

I always liked those Warhawks.

Go for the flames. Nothing more traditional, will always look good, and won't create any controversy between the Army, Navy, Marines, Coast Guard, Air Force, German nationals, desert tortoises and Sasquatch.

Oh, and I really DO like the flames! Should look equally good with a rider in the saddle, something a lot of painters forget when they create their art.

NICE JOB!

Re: More Fighter Projects

Well usually what happens in an emergency is that Coast Guard falls under Navy Command and since the Uniforms are the same its no difference. There is one exception which is if you were a "Bubble Head" instead of a "Squid". Since I was a bubble head I know there wasnt a Coasty Toasty equivalent. I think we called it the Tennis Shoe Navy LOL

Anyway I respect all branches "Attention On Deck" !!!

Thank You For Your Service even if you were on a Buoy Tender!!!

Re: More Fighter Projects

Never did the buoy tender thing. Port Security. Boarded ships, spent a lot of time boarding and checking the yachts for compliance, since all them bikinis never wore any "external" floatation devices.

Oh yea.. and we always had to check the bottom of the patrol boat by launching it over the wake of the Navy vessels leaving port.

Man the new Lueys hated that !

Carlos..great job and thanks for taking our minds off the FD issues for a while !
