Trailering an LT

Tomorrow I leave for Texas to pick up my LT and possibly a R1200CLC for the wife. I've read all the instructions on how to tie them down but have one question. What is, and, where do you get the "soft tie" that is referred to in the instructions. I was planning to just use the ratchet straps around the fork bridge but wonder about the "soft tie"!

This what they look like. Some ratchet straps have them permanently attached. You can find them at Home Depot and some motorcycle stores And of course on-line.

Hey, Joe - where in Tejas are you pickin' up your new ride? If anywhere near Boerne/San Antonio/Austin, I've got extra soft-ties you're welcome to and would be glad to meetcha and help if needed.

Yup, I found them at Wally World!

Dick, we're going to Justin, outside of Fort Worth.

It's -10 on the thermometer here, can't wait for that warm Texas air!

I don't know any of the sights between OK and TX, would welcome any recomendations!
