Graphics for the LT

I've a had way too much time on my hands since the weather turned cold and have been dreamin' up some new threads for the LT. What do you all think of this for a new paint job on my ride? Over the top?

Show off some of your ideas for a dream paint scheme...it's winter, what else can we do? May the farkles be with us!

Looks good, but you've got to do the top-box also, for an 'integrated look'.

K-daug,

I like the graphics, I like the top box left original color (nice contrast), and I like the color behind the graphics. Good work!

It does appear longer an leaner without the top box color, but I also like the integrated look too....

Thanks for the thumbs up guys...but, I've given it some more thought and I've decided not to go ahead with this paint project. I bought this bike get back into riding, not for show. I think I would be overly cautious with a paint job like that and maybe miss the point. I'll save the paint idea for when I can afford a second "part-time" bike...maybe a Harley. (did I say the H word?)

That is great how about one in Blue, less the Dallas Cowboys Star?

Thumbs up Looks good

Nice looking bike there, nice to see what other minds can come up with this style of bike. BTW, does anyone have any links to companies that have examples of graphics to cover up "indiscretions" on the pannier lids? You know, when she has a lie down and hits the gutter and chips the paint?

TIA

How about a wrap? It's amazing what those guys can do and if you don't like it you can peel it all off. I thought about it myself but being this bike is only 3 days old to me I may wait a while before doing anything to it other than just some comfort and lighting stuff.
Dallas cowboy star..... that is great! Can I get one in Tampa Bay Bucs colors!! LOL! Great concept K-Daug!

Great graphics ... what software are you using to do it with ?

Wow..I just love that blue ! Out of curiosity, which we all know killed the cat and probably more than a few marriages, anybody know or can guesstimate what a paint creation (can't call it a job) like that would cost?

Might have to assess the cost ratio of the paint to the cost of the divorce it would cause.

Blue paint...alimony...blue paint...alimony...blue paint...alimony...hmmmm

ONE MILLION DOLLARS!!!

Seriously...I don't know, didn't get that far with the project. I would guess the artwork would have to be video projected onto the bike to achieve the parallel lines effect on the curved surface. (from a more forward angle they would look very curvey!) Not a job for the faint-of-heart....

I have someone I am going to show it to. I am going to ask if he can do the vertical in a ghost paint so they only show from a certain view, then the blue.

I know I don't want to hear his price but I am curious. He is in York PA which is not far, and I go there twice a week.

I am at least going to ask.

I would say at least 2500 if he can get someone to lay the graphics down cheap. If not I bet it goes into 3000+ no problem.

The only issue I have is, I do ride all year, and while nicking any paint makes me cry, a stone chip on that would be a real kick in the balls.

I would say at least 2500 if he can get someone to lay the graphics down cheap. If not I bet it goes into 3000+ no problem.

The only issue I have is, I do ride all year, and while nicking any paint makes me cry, a stone chip on that would be a real kick in the balls.
Exactly why I'm backing away from the project! I'd rather not worry about the nicks and dings and just ride. I can send you a higher resolution version of just the artwork (flat not on the bike) if you'd like to show that to your painter as well. Just send me a PM with your email address.
