Thumbs up Getting Wired!

Hooking the Garmin 450 and XM radio to my 03LT. (BMR Co-pilot)

I wanted to know the location that you guys have used to grab power from the bike for a nice clean install.

If using an in-line FM mod for the XM, are you taking that power direct from the battery?

Thanks again for all the help this site provides!

Howdy!
Power is usually tapped from the "map light". The brown wire is "ground" the other should be the positive circuit.

Using the "inline" FM Mod should tie in to the same source... both are low enough draw for those farkles that you shouldn't pop any fuses.
