Well, Ron, that depends on what accessorY you are interested in. Because of the limited demand for many accessories that are LT specific, I would say that discounts are hard to come by. Vendors just don't have that much mark-up to play with. I have, however, had very good luck on the classified section of this forum. I just list a "WTB" (want to buy) and invariably some one has that item for sale.

Vendors who are site members

Scroll down on the main menu and you will find a section on vendors A-Z items who are active members of this site as well.

For a general stock of all sorts of accessories, I doubt there are many members here who haven't bought SOMETHING from Raffy over the years.......including me.

Take a look around the Acessories page; most have links to vendors for the various toys and farles available for the LT. http://www.bmwlt.com/forums/faq.php?...ccessories_faq

I second that, Raffy carries alot of good stuff and I think his prices are competitive. He is, most importantly, "one of us". There are other vendors who are active members of the forum who market other non competing items like Ron Miller, Kontour seats. From time to time an item comes to market that is popular enough for someone to put together a group purchase. Some guys have gotten good deals on GPS units for example.
If you have specific items in mind put it out there and you will get links from all kinds of sites and plenty of opinions as well. I guess that is the beauty of the web and this forum.
Hope this helps.

"In the group" sources

Thanks for the tips. I have already sent an email to Ron regarding a seat. I will check out Raffy's. I always prefer to deal with family.

Some members are reporting problems with Chicago BMW...long wait times (month or so) and wrong parts being shipped. Raffy is great for accessories for the LT. He gets my vote.

ya know that is not so true, I just spent a bunch of time checking prices for my friend in fl, on a bunch of parts for his GS, max's bmw was cheaper all across the board on parts ordered from them, much cheaper. In fact BMW Atlanta was cheaper than chicago's online ordering as well.
at least for what we were buying - All factory parts no aftermarket

Chicago shows a HIGH retail (I have no idea where they get those prices _ then discounts it)

So you might check other places first,
