Radio issues

This past weekend my daughter and I did a fabulous ride into NM and back into AZ via NM 152. Anyway that is another story. At my last gas stop the radio was working fine I just turned it down while I filled up with gas. When I left I noticed the volume on the radio did not come up to hear it over the road noise. I attempted to manually increase the volume, no luck. What I have is this. The controller and indicator are on and light up. I was using a cassette unit to plug my Ipod into. I cannot get it to eject and a notice on the display say's no cassette. Anyone else ever have this problem, I am wondering if I have a bad connection somewhere. I also turned the handle bars extreme left while filling the tank maybe that caused a bad or loose connection. Any advise from other's experience is really needed. Hope I do not have to replace the unit. Or I will have to be calling Tony's bone yard for one.

Before getting too concerned, I would disconnect the battery for ~30 minutes and see if this resets the radio. Might not fix the problem but it won't hurt either.

Remember to reset the throttle postion sensor after you reconnect the battery. Key on-don't start-fully open and close the throttle (repeat twice). Key off. Then start as normal. HTH

Radio

My radio lock up this past weekend also. No audio from speaker or headset, system was working but no audio. Power system and bike down and remove the radio fuse. This work for me.

Take care
