05 - Temp Gauge Blanks Out?

My temp gauge on my 05 started blanking out. If I turn it off, wait a few seconds and restart it; It USUALLY reappears? Any thoughts on this?

P.S.
Just ordered a set of tires from SouthWest for $298. $185 rear & $113 front.

See if you still have the problem after you get those new tires.

HMM. Could be an intermittent at the cluster connector. How about reseating it with some "electric grease"? Also, check the connection of the wire at the thermocoupler.
