Foot pegs

Has anyone ever adapted anything to keep their footpegs from scraping? Besides taller shocks. This cheap metal seems very soft and is getting worse and worse. Thought about welding on them but not sure what that is made of and afraid bead won't stick.

To heck with the welder...get a cutting torch and cut about two inches off the outside. That'll keep em from draggin. Hope it helps!

Suppose you could drill & tap a coupla holes on the bottom and attach a little UHMW wear plate...'course any significant thickness would decrease yer lean angle that much more....
